Coded Entry Systems

Coded entry systems, or digital systems as they are sometimes known, offer a high degree of convenience to the Office Manager. A standard 4-digit code can be set to allow certain staff access through a particular door. A non-volatile memory and/or battery back up will also be useful. The code will be retained in the event of a power failure. Multiple codes can be adopted for the control of different staff members. Keypads can be backlit for night time use.

Electronic systems comprise of a keypad outside the door with a power supply and electric lock on the secure side of the door. Mechanical keypads that can be fitted to the door are also available but are less appropriate for heavy duty use. The units are available in most colours and finishes to match almost any colour scheme. The keypad can also be incorporated as part of the door intercom housing outside the main entrance.
