Electric Sliding Gates

Electric Sliding Gates are an effective and surprisingly low cost way of controlling access into an area. Ansador Ltd have extensive experience at designing and installing automatic gates. Our service extends to the design of the gates, automation system, access control and provision of power if necessary.

Sliding gates are probably the most secure type of electric gate in day to day use.

This is because they form a more effective and impenetrable barrier as they lock into position between double posts at each end of the entrance road or driveway.
There are several choices of operating system to choose from. Here are some simple guidelines and questions you may find useful.

• What width gate is required? Remember what ever length gate is chosen will require the same width on the left or right to allow the gate to slide into.
• Is the ground level? Sliding gates cant work up and down any gradient.
• How heavy will the gate be? There are different size motors to accommodate different weight gates.
• What safety circuits are required? Photocell, and loop induction is recommended. We will advise you of the regulations when we do a site survey.
• How many users will be using the gate and how often. This is to ensure the motors are specified to accommodate the correct duty cycle.
• We can provide the motors as well as the gates which are normally custom made for the application.
