HANDS FREE entry control is widely considered to be the ultimate in access control technology. The system has been pioneered by Cotag International for whom Ansador Ltd have been dealers since 1984. The fob or card is available in several forms which allows the user to walk towards the locked door and unlock it as they approach thanks to a signal picked up by the proximity card reader. Each card then imparts a unique signal and can be individually recognised and the appropriate action taken when the card comes into range.
The hands free access system is particularly well suited to buildings where the card reader must be out of sight because the system can work through solid walls. Medical applications are also popular as the system is hands free, therefore cutting down on time wasting and being hands free it is more hygienic.
