Electric Locks

Ansador Ltd has an electric door lock for every type of door. All forms of door intercom and access control system will require an electric lock of some type or another. As the style, type and size of doors varies so much there is a huge range of locks to choose from. It is vital to specify the correct lock if the integrity of both the door and security of the building are not to be compromised. Magnetic locks are available in most sizes and are well suited for use on doors which are designated fire exits but still need to be secure from the outside. The correct strength lock must be specified for each door.

Glass doors have particular characteristics and must be secured from a small range of appropriate locking systems. Lock release systems are available to work opposite most types of latch and sometimes deadlock. As with most electric locking systems they can be set to fail in the locked or unlocked mode in the event of a power failure or alarm activation. The locking systems can also be set to provide a monitored output to either an access control system or intruder alarm system. This will allow the owner to determine if the door is open/closed or locked/unlocked.

Electric locks and Solenoid bolts are also available for increased security applications. The units can be deadlocked as well so offering greater confidence. A range of small Solenoid bolts are also available, suitable for doors and windows, making central locking for doors and windows a reality.

It is appropriate to suggest that there are 5 main type of electric locks that suit most types of door.
