Proximity card systems

Proximity cards use a small unique coded chip within the card. The chip holds a number which can be recognised by a card reader and unlock the door according to predefined access levels and time zones. Simple proximity cards are relatively inexpensive are easy to use and as there is no contact between the card and the card reader will have a long life expectancy.

Salto standalone
This simple Salto card is built into the door handle Cards can be enabled and disabled for the door with the use of a shadow pack of duplicate cards which will add of delete the cards from the memory of each door handle as required.

Siemens Entro Lite system 1 to 16 doors
This is the smaller system which utilises proximity cards and is designed for the smaller user with a limit of up to 16 doors and 1000 card holders. The system can easily be upgraded from Entro Lite to Entro if required.

Siemens Entro system 1 to 512 doors
This is a PC based system which is similar to the Granta system but is designed as a more economical version. The standard software is constantly being enhanced and has already gained a high reputation for reliability and has a feature rich package allowing the user to control and monitor multiple card holders for up to 500 doors

Granta Access Control System (1 - 2056 doors)
This is an advanced PC based access control system offering the user the ability to control and monitor up to 65,000 card holders through 1,024 doors. The system includes many features which have now become standard in the world of access control. This includes monitoring of the doors, integration of biometric readers and linking to CCTV systems. The system can also be enhanced by adding various additional software packages which will automatically integrate into the main system software.
