Barrier at Hitchin

Office employees some of whom must have continual access on a 24/7 basis use this small car park. Being in the centre of this busy Town it was impossible to prevent unauthorised parking and the only solution was to place a 5 metre at the entrance to the car park.

Access control is achieved for authorised vehicles using hand held radio transmitters, which the driver simply points towards the barrier to enable the beam to raise. This system has now stopped unlawful parking.
