The Covid-19 pandemic has posed numerous challenges, difficulties and at times down-right painful decision making for a vast number of businesses globally.
I think we would all agree that 2020 has certainly caused us all to re-evaluate, re-assess and essentially regroup on a multitude of issues including how we operate, how we react to changing circumstances and perhaps most importantly, how we prepare for eventualities that the majority of us thought would never happen.
Earlier in the year when the pandemic began, along with many others, I did of course have my concerns. However, when my Father, Chairman of Ansador Francis Davey, started Ansador in the early eighties, he instilled an infinite amount of resilience in to the business, as well as ambition, knowledge and expertise that we have all ensured are always at the heart of what we do. So it came as no surprise that when we were faced with the challenges of this year, we drew from our established core values and knew that as a company, we had an opportunity to utilise what we do, how we do it, and to leverage existing system solutions for clients, as well as installing new ones, in order to help them address the urgent health and safety factors associated with the pandemic.
The need for leveraging enterprise level technology has never been greater since the Covid-19 pandemic began. The long standing technology partnerships we have built over the last 40 years have been as valuable as ever, and furthermore, the need for the innovation of technology has been at the forefront of most business’ minds when it comes to life safety and security systems.
The ‘new normal’ of temperature checks, contactless technology, and preventative measures has meant quick thinking, versatility and adaptability – all of which I am proud to say we have made our priority here at Ansador. Never have I been more grateful to our senior management in their ability to adapt and deliver in rapidly changing circumstances.
The company buzzword for us at the moment is ‘active.’ We’re active in leveraging existing system solutions for our clients. Active in never forgetting the core values we began with 40 years ago, and last but not least, active in pulling together as a team to do what we do best; delivering on our promise that it’s not just what we do. It’s how we do it.
